We have the internal resources and external partnerships to provide renewable energy projects of various scales. These services are generally provided following demand side reduction (energy conservation) measures to ensure optimal cost effectiveness. Many substantial tax credits and other financial incentives are available for these projects.
Project examples include:
Solar Power – Also known as solar PV (photovoltaics), this technology converts energy from the sun into usable electricity. It is one of the more costly technologies on the market, but there are substantial tax incentives to make it more affordable than ever.
Solar Thermal – Also know as solar hot water, this technology transfers heat from the sun to water for hot water uses. It usually provides 60-90% of hot water demand and therefore typically is accompanied by a secondary backup water heating source, such as a tankless hot water heater. It is the most affordable solar technology on the market today (except for perhaps passive solar heating and cooling) and there are many substantial tax incentives to make it even more affordable.
Wind Power - This technology converts energy from wind into usable electricity. It is one of the more costly technologies on the market, but there are substantial tax incentives to make it more affordable.
Micro-hydro Power - This uncommon and often forgotten technology converts energy from moving water into usable electricity. It is one of the more costly technologies on the market, but there are substantial tax incentives to make it more affordable.
Geothermal Heating and Cooling - This technology utilizes the near constant temperature of the ground below the surface level. It can provide both water heating and space heating and cooling. This is one of the more costly technologies on the market, but there are substantial tax incentives to make it more affordable.
